The factory brake controller harness on your 2016 Ford F-250 Crew Cab should be located behind a small dashboard panel to the right of the steering column. Behind the panel there should be a grey connector. This connector will be what mates with the corresponding brake controller custom harness # 3034-P.
If you do not yet have a trailer brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885. This is a great proportional controller that will activate your trailer's brakes at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your F-250. It features a nice digital display with continuous diagnostics to alert you to any potential issues. This controller is well known for its reliability and ease of installation. This, along with the custom wiring harness 3034-P mentioned above will be all you need to install the trailer brake controller on your truck.
