Can B&W Companion Hitch Handle Inclines and Side to Side Elevation Changes

Question:

My 2016 F350 dually has factory towing package, and the 5th wheel I have ordered is 16,000 Max weight, 2,500 on hitch. To get to the parking spot Ill have to back uphill on an S-curve, and over uneven ground. How much pivot front to back and side to side will this hitch move? And can it push the 5th wheel up a 9 degree incline without popping out the mounting?

The B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 will work great for you. The head of the hitch does pivot a decent amount side to side to help mainly with connecting and disconnecting on ground that isn't perfectly level but it will help with traveling through unlevel terrain as well.

If the pivot gets maxed out totally the vehicle's suspension will then unload on one side as the trailer pushed it over slightly on the other side.

For the inclines you mentioned the hitch would work well and would not pop out of the mounting pucks.
