Recommended Low-Cost Rack System for Installation on Hard Tonneau Cover

Question:

I am planning to install a Yakima Roof Rack on an Undercover brand tonneau cover. The components I have ed are the following: Cross Bars part number Y00410. Landing Pads part number Y00226. Control Towers part number Y00152 and Round Bar SL Adaptor part number Y03536. Will these components work and are they all compatible? Is this the most cost-effective solution? Thank You.

Undercover offers several types of hard tonneau covers for vehicles like your 2010 Nissan Frontier so you'll want to make certain that your particular cover series/model can handle the weight of the load you intend to place on the rack you install on top of the cover.

We do offer some low-cost rack systems you might want to consider, such as the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack # S80510 and the SportRack # SR1020.

The Yakima roof rack you referenced, Y01140-66, is intended for installation on a pickup bed without a tonneau, where there is access to the bed rails, but we do have track-based rack systems that are designed for installation on top of camper shells and similar weight-capable surfaces like a hard tonneau cover.
