Replacement Spring Bars for Curt Weight Distribution System C17422 Rated for More Trailer Weight
Question:
Hi I have a toy hauler with a front deck on it. I purchased CURT 17422 for is since Im close to 1500 lb of tongue weight with my atvs on board. There is no way to redistribute load. When the ATVs are not loaded on the trailer the tongue weight is about 600 or so lbs. Would I also be able to use the bar set SKU: CUR-17305 with that kit?

Yes, you can substitute different weight distribution spring bars for the times your trailer is unloaded versus loaded up with your ATVs. The Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System # C17422 comes with bars rated to handle from 1000-lbs up to 1500-lbs of trailer tongue weight (TW). You can substitute the 800-lb rated spring bars part # C17308 for towing the empty trailer with 600-lb TW..
