Question:
Good morning. I just purchased my 1st 5th wheel RV a 2010 Crossroads Cruiser 30SK. I need some information since I do not see any within the Owner’s Guide. What type of tow cable will I need 7 pin or blade on both side?? What type of electrical cable will I need to plug into RV park or Camp ground utilities 50 AMP?

Expert Reply:
5th wheel RVs typically use a 7-way type wiring set-up, with a trailer plug that looks like # H20046. This mates to a 7-way vehicle socket like # 37185. The linked photo will give you a good view of a vehicle-side socket and the function carried on each of its electrical circuits. The 7-way plug and cable should already be installed and ready for use with your tow vehicle's 7-way.
I have linked for you our main page for RV electrical products including 50-amp cords, extensions and inlets. We have both standard and twist-lock 50-amp power products you can view by clicking on the filters on the page. For example, for a 50-foot 50-amp extension cord we offer # A10-5050EH.
