Is the Taskmaster Load Range G Tire Compatible with a Forest River Travel Trailer

Question:

where are these tires made and not sure my rims will be rated to handle the G rated psi. Rims are from a Forest River Spartan 3010 travel trailer toy box.

The Taskmaster Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G, # TTWPRG235R16, has a 14-ply rating and a maximum load 4,400 lbs at 110 psi. As for your rims being able to hold this psi, the valve stem is the weak point on a the tire and wheel combo for psi rating. Changing your valve stem to a higher psi rated stem like # AM20906 will guarantee the wheel and tire can handle the high psi.

The Taskmaster tire # TTWPRG235R16 and almost 99.99 percent of all special trailer tires are manufactured by a couple companies that are based in China. The tire must meet the same DOT specifications for tires to be sold in the USA.
