Question:
Is a Roadmaster Falcon 2 towbar designed to pull a 2016 F150 Lariat pickup? thanks

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520 has a maximum weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. From my research the 2016 Ford F-150 does not exceed that amount so the tow bar will be just fine with the F-150.
To flat tow the F-150 you'll also need base plates, wiring, a supplemental braking system, and likely a high-low adapter.
To connect to the Falcon 2 you'll be best off with a Roadmaster base plate kit. The EZ4 # RM-524431-4 is confirmed to fit your truck and the tow bar.
To power the truck's lights I suggest the diode kit # RM-15267. This will use the vehicle's tail lights by connecting to the RV's and includes the cord to go between the two. You'll also need a Brake-Lite Relay # RM-88400 to keep the Ford's lights from overriding the RV's.
For a supplemental braking system the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 is a favorite around here because of how reliable it is and it's easier to install than many other permanently installed systems.
Finally, you'll likely need a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop your setup requires. I've also linked our selection of adapters for you to look at once you know what you need.
In addition to my recommendations I've linked some articles on flat towing that you may find helpful.
