Do Curt Bike Racks C18030 and C18029 Require the Use of a Stabilizer Strap
Question:
on the c18085 and c18030 is the strap needed to attach to the car? I dont see a strap like this on other bike racks that I am looking at?

Whether or not you need to use a stabilizer strap with either Curt bike racks you mentioned part # C18030 or # C18085 depends on the hitch of the vehicle you have.
If the hitch on your vehicle is made by Curt and requires the use of a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 then you do need to use the strap. If not, then you do not need it.
