Recommendation For 8 Pin Connector To Protect And Secure It When Not In Use

Question:

We bought TLW6524 so that we could get power to both our truck camper and trailer. We dont always tow the trailer, so we would like to disconnect the short piece which would hang unused below the camper. When we do that, we are left with a plug that resembles a 4-pin connector, but has 8 pins. I need a cover to protect that. I can find 4-pin connector covers, but nothing that will do the same thing for the larger connector. Do you have any suggestions?

We don't have a cover for an 8 pin connector like you pictured. To keep this connector from corrosion, I recommend using dielectric grease # 11755 and electrical tape to cover the ends. I also recommend using zip ties # DW05724-10 to keep this harness tight to the other wiring harness.
