Exhaust Rattle Against Hitch Receiver On 2017 Toyota Sienna

Question:

I recently purchased and installed a trailer hitch on my new Toyota Sienna. It was a Draw-tite 76112. The installation went very smoothly...easier than expected. The only problem I have is now the exhaust pipe vibrates against the trailer hitch. Very annoying rattle. Any suggestions on how I can address this problem?

It is not uncommon to have an issue like this. Most of the time it requires adjusting the exhaust brackets, just bending them to hold the exhaust a couple centimeters higher or lower. Other times it requires purchasing new rubber hangers because they are worn out, but that won't be the case on your 2017 Toyota Sienna because it is still very new. Giving the exhaust hangers a slight bend will not effect them or their function, but will eliminate the rattle against your hitch receiver.
