Parts Needed for Brake Controller Installation in 2005 Honda Pilot with 7-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
I have a 2005 Honda Pilot that already has a 4-way and 7-way connector. Does this mean I am already wired for a brake controller?

Since you already have a 7-way on your Honda Pilot installation of a brake controller like the Primus IQ # TK90160 or Prodigy P2 # 90885 will require only the controller itself plus install kit # 5506. This kit includes the wire, circuit breaker and connectors required for a hardwired installation. The 2-conductor cable included will allow the controller's output signal to be routed to the 7-way and also allow for the 12V power feed from the battery that provides controller operating power.
