Tilting or Swinging Bike Rack for a 2010 Honda Pilot that Allows Rear Hatch to Open

Will the bike rack tilt down with bikes on it for access to the hatch on a 2010 Honda Pilot?

The Yakima RidgeBack # Y02458 was not designed to be tilted with the bikes loaded but I do have an excellent option for you. The Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swing Away # Y02465 will completely swing out of your way, with or without the bikes loaded, so you have full access to the back of your vehicle. I have linked a video showing how it works.
Another option if your 2010 Honda Pilot has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, you could look at another swinging bike rack such as # SR2415. It also swings the rack off to the passenger's side of the vehicle, with or without bikes loaded, to open the hatch. I have linked a video of this rack as well.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
