Compatiblity Of Vehicle Side Replacement Wiring And 5th Wheel Wiring Harness On 2014 Ford F-250
Question:
Okay, well see if the third time is the charm? Im working on a 2014 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.7 4WD crew cab 8Ft box with the factory installed tow package. I was checking the 7pin-4pin trailer plug located on the receiver hitch on the rear of the vehicle, it was corroded and beyond use, while removing it I noticed that the vehicle side of the wiring harness plug was also corroded beyond repair and needs to be replaced. Now after all that, my question is item #HM40975-11998 the same parts that I need to replace mentioned above? 2nd question is I also want to install item #50-97-410 on this vehicle, are these 2 items compatible with each other?

Yes. The replacement part for the vehicle side you are looking at for your 2014 Ford F-250, the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring - Vehicle End # HM40975-11998 will work. This part will be compatible with the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug - GM, Ford, Ram, Toyota - 9' Long # 50-97-410 that you referenced.
These parts are compatible with your truck and each other.
