How to Safely Carry Roof Bag On 2017 Jeep Cherokee With Panoramic Roof
Question:
I am interested in a roof bag for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. The Cherokee has front to back rails but no cross bars. Further, the Cherokee has a panoramic glass sunroof. Can I use the bag, attaching it to the side rails? If not, why is the minimum I need for a safe installation? Thanks

Nothing should be on the panoramic glass on the roof of your Cherokee. The glass is not designed to be able to withstand any cargo weight.
I recommend installing a roof rack like the Yakima Jetstream. To order the roof rack you will need part # Y00425, and part # Y33TR.
I then recommend using a cargo basket like part # Y07070 on the crossbars to provide a good base to carry the Rightline Cargo Bag, part # RL100S20.
