Will Andersen 5th Wheel Adapter AM3200 Provide Even Clearance to Make 90 Degree Turns

Question:

I have a 2012 king ranch with a 6 1/2 foot bed. I have existing rails from a Reese fifth wheel hitch. I purchased a 2016 big country by heartland which is 42 foot long. Will there be an issue with turning up to 90° when parking or turning? Foremost will this hitch fit the existing rails?

It looks like the 2016 Big Country has a tapered front cap so it is possible that you will have enough clearance to make a 90 degree turn using Andersen hitch # AM3200. The better option would be to use a slider 5th wheel hitch such as # 16516. This hitch offers 12 inches of travel so you will have a much better chance making 90 degree turns than you would with the Andersen hitch. And this particular 5th wheel hitch costs less.
