Replacement Motor for Lipper Landing Gear on a 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I need to replace the landing gear motor on my 5th wheel which has a Lippert Landing Gear assembly with one motor. Dry weight of the 5th wheel is 7500 lbs. I am confused on which motor to use, it seems that the LC141893, LG 142178 and the LC 196308 will work but the price varies greatly. They all have 1 year warranties and are all made in China. Any recommendations?

A lot of landing gear systems from different manufacturers have parts that are interchangeable and that includes motors. Replacement motor # LG-142178 can be used. It is designed to fit Atwood, Lippert, and Venture landing gear as well as Stromberg-Carlson landing gear.

There should be some information on the label on the motor. If you could take a picture of that label and email it to me I can verify is this or another motor can be used.
