Should Brakes Lock Up On 1998 48 Foot Kraft Trailer Lock Up When Breakaway Pin Is Pulled?

when you pull the pin on the brake away for the electric brakes are the brakes supposed to lock up?

When you pull the pin on a breakaway like the Engager Trailer BreakAway Kit with Charger and Tester # 20099 on your 1998 48 foot trailer, it should activate the electric brakes. It won't lock up the brakes, but it should quickly and safely add braking pressure to bring the trailer to a stop.
