Will the B&W Companion Install Directly Over the Puck System on a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500
Question:
What is the footprint of the Companion hitch with the puck system for a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500? I want to install a tool chest and want to make sure I have enough space.

Expert Reply:
The base of the B&W Companion # BWRVK3700 for your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 will fit directly over the OEM puck system. That flange that you see will be sitting directly over the pucks on your Sierra.
As long as the tool chest will not cover the pucks, you should be just fine.
