Weight Distribution System for 2016 Ram 2500 Towing 11k Trailer

Question:

2016 Ram 2500 pulling a 32 ft. travel trailer @7,760 dry and 11,000 loaded. The trailer is also taller than most out their. The sway control I have is the old trunnion with the sway control bar and it was for my old camper that weighed about 7,000 loaded. I need it to stop tail whipping and I need the trailer to sit more level. Now it sets nose high because the hitch doesnt adjust down far enough. Im looking at the new reese RP66560. Thoughts on this? Also the four inch isnt enough. The truck is stock with no lift.

The Reese Steadi Flex weight distribution system part # RP66560 is a great option for weight distribution but based on the 11k weight of your trailer when loaded th better option is the part # RP66075 which has a tongue weight range of 1,700 lbs and has a better sway control device. Also it doesn't come with a shank so that you can order one with enough drop.

For shanks that will fit this kit and give you more drop we have the part # C17123 or for even more drop we have the part # C17124 which would work well.
