Easy-to-Remove Bike Rack for 2017 Chevy Bolt EV

Hello! I read your reply to a similar question https://www.etrailer.com/question-157646.html in which you recommended the Kuat Beta # B202-2 as an easy-to-remove, not-to-heavy bike rack option. However, you mentioned it needed a 2-inch hitch, and I see the recommended hitch for the 2017 Chevy Bolt, the Curt hitch part # C11457 described in answer to another question https://www.etrailer.com/question-192438.html is a 1.25inch hitch. Can the Chevy Bolt accommodate any 2inch hitches, or is there another bike rack that is similarly easy to remove that fits a 1.25inch hitch? Thank you in advance for your help!

For your 2017 Chevy Bolt EV there are only Class I 1-1/4 inch hitches available like the Draw Tite part # 24956 which will limit your choices but there are still great options for your vehicle.

The Saris Freedom part # SA4025F is the best ightweight option. It's easy to remove and only weighs 35 lbs which is very light for a platform bike rack. This rack also only touches the tires of the bikes when loaded so it won't damage or scratch any paint finishes.
