Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller 90885 Installation in 2017 Ram 2500

I have a 2017 Ram 2500 that I would like to install Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller - Can I install it with having the computer synced by the dealer?

All you need to do to install the Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 in your 2017 Ram 2500 is plug it in using the wiring adapter # 3024-P.

If your truck came from the factory with an OEM brake controller your dealer will need to reconfigure the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) to remove the warning lamp on the instrument cluster. This is only necessary when replacing a factory controller. Please refer to the linked article.
