Recommended Wiring To Make 2011 Honda Pilot Compatible With 5-Way Trailer Wiring Reverse Solenoid
Question:
Greetings, I’m looking for a trailer harness for a 2011 Honda Pilot. However, I need a 5 pole connector to include back-up lights to power the reverse solenoid on my trailer surge brakes. Can you help? Thank you

For your 2011 Honda Pilot, I recommend you use the Honda Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring (7-Way) w/ Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module # 118253 so you will also have the reverse function you need. This will require you to use the Draw-Tite 6 and 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Box # 18159.
Then you will need an adapter like # C35FR or # A57WB. With trailer connectors, it is wise to use dielectric grease like # 11755 to keep moisture and debris out of your connections.
