Trailer Hitch Recommendations for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Diesel Motor

I noticed this receiver set up does not fit with diesel models. Do you offer a model that does and do you ship to Canada? Thanks

Yes, there are trailer hitches available for the diesel models of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and yes, we can ship them to Canada!
If you want a Curt hitch it is # C13182. And there is a Draw-Tite option as well, # 75713, which is rated a little higher than the Curt hitch but of course you are limited to the capacity of the vehicle. I have linked videos showing example installations of both hitches (the one for Draw-Tite is on a Durango but the hitch also fits that vehicle; just an FYI).
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
If your Jeep does not have a factory trailer connector already the connector for it should still be there under the rear of the vehicle allowing you to plug in a 4-Way, # C55515, or a 7-Way # C55774 (which also has a 4-Way). However, it may be necessary to see a local Jeep dealer to activate the tow package wiring circuit.
