Will 2-Bike Platform Rack Work With Class l Hitch On 2011 Mazda 3
Question:
I just want to make sure before I buy a hitch bike rack model that it will surely be a good fit for my 2011 Mazada3 Sport hatchback. I would still have to purchase a trailer hitch receiver as well. I found model #2843 Draw Title sportframe trailer hitch receiver- custom fit - Class 1 - 1-1/4...is that the best hitch for my car and this bike rack. Didnt realize how much went in to buying a bike rack. Whew. Appreciate your expert advise.

The Draw-Tite # 24843 trailer hitch is a confirmed fit for your 2011 Mazda 3. This is a Class l trailer hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening.
One thing to be concerned with when using any hitch accessory with a trailer hitch is the clearance at the back of your vehicle. For the Draw-Tite hitch, the distance form the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the rear bumper is 5-1/2 inches.
