Solution for Hitch Accessory Stuck in Trailer Hitch After Season of Use
Question:
I have a hitch on my car that I use for a bike rack. I typically put it in in the spring, and remove it in late fall. When I go to take it out, its always stuck and takes a lot of spraying/pounding/frustration to finally get it out. Is there anything I can do or put into the hitch at the beginning of the season so that it is easier to remove at the end of the season?

Sounds like you have a bike rack that you leave installed in the hitch of your vehicle which is getting frozen with corrosion in the hitch tube.
One solution would be to coat the shank of the rack with waterproof grease like the # L11390 which will prevent the corrosion from forming.
