Does Head Position of B and W Companion Hitch Affect Distribution of Pin Weight

Question is what difference in front axle vs rear axle weight distribution occurs with the two hitch settings of direct over rear axle vs 2 inches behind rear axle. Does the hitch frame basically distribute the weight the same regardless of setting?

The head of the B and W Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3700 is adjustable like most B and W Companion hitches but since the feet of the hitch stay in the same spot and do not move forward and back the distribution of the pin weight of the fifth wheel is not affected.

Basically you will want to pick the hitch setting that works the best for your towing setup and would not need to worry about it negatively affecting the weight distribution of the trailer pin weight.
