Trailer Hitch to Carry 2 Bikes on a 2016 Chevy Spark with a Saris Freedom Bike Rack

Question:

I tow my 2016 Chevrolet Spark behind our motorhome. I need to install a trailer hitch on the Spark for the Sairs Freedom- 2-bike rack. I read somewhere the Curt hitch requires a strap when using for non-trailer loads. Will the Draw Tight hitch hold up with the weight of the rack and two metal framed cant afford the carbon frames bikes plus the rack. I'd say total weight would be in the 80 to 120 pound range. Thank you.

Curt trailer hitch # C11433 is the hitch that I recommend for your 2016 Chevy Spark to carry bikes. The Curt hitch will be more than capable of handling 2 bikes on a bike rack.

The Saris Freedom bike rack # SA4412B is a great choice as well. It weighs just 22-1/2 pounds and is compatible with many bike styles. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
