Function Carried on Each Wire of 4-Pole Trailer Harness
Question:
I wired a trailer. Problem I have is rewiring the new plug to my vehicle. My signal lights work but which wire on my new plug goes with the running light wire on my vehicle

A 4-pole trailer wiring harness like # C58044 uses the brown wire to carry the running light signal for both sides of the trailer. The green wire carries right turn and brake signals and the yellow wire carries left turn and brake signals. The white wire is ground.
