Replacement 5th Wheel Trailer Landing Gear
Question:
I have a 2010 Fuzion 302 5th wheel. The electric jack for my landing gear is very weak and needs to be replaced. Currently the motor is not branded 12v, 3.1A, 7140 RPM, PN 125340, Full load 180 RPM, no load RPM 7140, Ratio 35.3:1. This jack has always been under powered and slow. Id like a replacement that will be fast, not bog down and not have to be replaced in the near future. We only use the rig a few times a year, so its not a worn out.

Your part 125340 refers to a Stromberg Carlson landing gear kit. In case you want to service this unit we do offer the replacement motor # LG-142178 and replacement gear box # LG-179015.
For an upgrade I suggest the dual-motor 12K-rated Ultra-Fab kit # UF17-943010 or the similar 8K-rated Reese # RP500708. Both provide 36-inches or more of lift. A highly-rated dual-motor system will work with less strain and should provide trouble-free service for a long time.
