Shock Kit or Equa Flex for Smoothing Out Ride Quality of Cargo Trailer

Question:

Hi Etrailer, I have a hallmark single axle cargo trailer Im trying to improve or Im mean add some suspension, I have a 4foot dexter axle and Im looking to add the gas shock kit but my question is will that work with Equa-Flex Cushioned Shackle Straps - Double Eye Springs - Single Axle - 3.5 K or will one be sufficient Im using the trailer as a motorcycle hauler/camper driving on rough roads any advice would be great.

The shock kit will give you the biggest improvement and would be what I would recommend. Dampening the suspension instead of just letting it bounce as freely as it wants will make a huge difference. The Equa-Flex would help but not nearly as much and would be a bit redundant if you have the shock kit.

If you have a 3,500 lb Dexter axle you would want the part # LC281255.
