Air Bag helper Springs for a 2007 Ford F-350 Dually with Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit
Question:
I bought these C16448-204 rails for my 2007 F 350 DRW and now I am shopping for rear air bags to help with load sag. All of the Air lift systems I find here say that they are not compatible with custom rails, I trust the Air lift systems, is there a system that will work for me?

The issue with the Air Lift systems, custom 5th wheel brackets, and the 2007 Ford F-350 is that the upper brackets for the Air Lift systems for this truck bolt on in several places and the 5th wheel brackets block them.
You can install an air bag set up though by using a Firestone kit. Use # F2400 for a 4-wheel drive model. The upper brackets for these kits use a large, single bolt that will go through that center hole in the sides of the 5th wheel brackets you have.
If you want to add an on-board compressor the most basic model is # F2158 that adds/removes air from both bags evenly. To add or remove air from each bag individually you can use # F2178.
