Will the B&W Companion # BWRVK3300 Work With Sidewinder # RP61412 on a 2017 Ford F-350 Short Bed

Will a bandw BWRVK 3300 and a sidewinder pinbox RP61412 be a good choice for a 2017 ford f-350 short bed truck. The fifth wheel box on the trailer is a LIPP 1621 The truck has the factory super duty prep package with the pucks in the bed.

Since your 2017 Ford F-350 has the factory prep package and a short bed, the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3300 will work great with a Sidewinder. Even though sliding 5th wheel hitches are a good solution, they tend to be heavier than normal 5th wheel hitches. when you have the factory prep package that uses the pucks, a regular 5th wheel is easier to get in and out of your truck bed so that you can gain full access when not towing your 5th wheel trailer.

You will need a different Sidewinder though, since the Sidewinder that you referenced, part # RP61412 is not the correct replacement for your Lippert 1621 pin box.

The correct Sidewinder to replace your Lippert 1621 pin box is the part # RP34FR which is rated for 20,000 lbs just like the Sidewinder that you referenced. You will want to use the wedge for B&W 5th Wheel Hitches # SWW-06 with this setup.

If you do not already have a 7-Way wiring harness installed in the bed of your F-350 then I recommend using the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness # C56000 as well.
