Weight distribution lift brackets vary in size and in their compatibility with trailer frame sizes. For cases where there is either limited access to the frame (due to the trailer nose overhanging the frame) or when the frame member is larger than the lift brackets' maximum size it is possible in some cases to use a set of bolt-on chain hangers, such as Reese part # RP58305 and Curt part # C17005. These bolt on to the outside of the trailer frame. You might need to locally source longer Grade 5 bolts, depending on the width of the frame member.
Please feel to tell us about your WD system (or provide your trailer frame member dimensions) and we can offer recommendations suitable for it.
