What is the Best Pressure to Run in Trailer Tires
Question:
I keep my fully rigged raft on the triton trailer all summer. I live at 8300ft but mostly pull it down to around 4500-5000ft. For raft trips, then back home. What do you think is the best pressure for me to keep these tires at? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
For trailer tires you have to keep them all inflated to their max pressure rating. Trailer tires are designed for having the max psi in them at all times. Failure to do this will reduce the weight capacity of the tire and will potentially cause heat failure.
