Pro Series Cargo Carrier Compatibility With Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver
Question:
The Pro heavy-duty trailer platform with side rails says for Class 3 and 4 only, however the picture has a Ford Escape. Can I use this product with a Class 2 tow package and 2inch receiver? Thanks.

The 24x60 Pro Series Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs # 63153 will fit any 2 inch hitch receiver. The Class II label normally means the system is a 1-1/4 inch receiver with a little more strength than a Class I receiver, in which case a Class II hitch receiver would not be compatible without an adapter.
You can use this cargo carrier with your Ford Escape as long as you have a 2 inch receiver. For this application I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span # 63232 for increased stability.
This cargo carrier has a light kit option. You can use # 20174 for incandescent bulbs or # 98174LED for LED lights.
