Recommended RV Rated Bike Rack For 2014 Mercedes Benz Sprinter

Question:

We have a 2014 Mercedes Benz Sprinter. Will the 28.2inch shown in the diagram provide sufficient clearing space for completely opening the 31inch rear door? Also, since this rack is listed specifically for a Sprinter will the warranty be valid. We understand the warranty limitations on a traditional RV and wish to be certain the Sprinter is covered.

We don't have specific fits for a hitch mounted rack except for use with an RV. The Softride Dura Parallelogram you mentioned is not a confirmed fit for an RV.

To keep your warranty valid, I recommend using the Swagman Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # S44FR for the most clearance. There is not a tilting or swinging rack option that is compatible with an RV so you will not be able to completely open the door of your vehicle.
