Can The Fulton Adapter Kit For The Fulton F2 Trailer Jack Be Mounted Horizontally?
Question:
Want to use this jack along with your Fulton adaptor plate. The adaptor plate shows that it has to be verticle long ways. The plate says top on it. Looking at the pictures of this jack, the mounting plate is sideways, or longer horizontal. Can this be rotated on the jack so the plate is longer while verticle? Obviously this would move the pull pin to the other side. Wondering if this will work. Thank you.

I reached out to my contact at Fulton and the Fulton F2 Swing-Up, Wide-Track Trailer Jack, 8" Single Wheel, Sidewind, Bolt-On - 1,600 lbs # F1413040134 is desinged be used with the Fulton Adapter Kit - Weld-On XP Jack Mount to F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack for 3" x 4" Frames # F500320.
The way you desire to mount the plate may work with the jack, but it is only tested for the capacity with the direction printed on the part, so if you choose to mount it the other way, you would void the warranty. The manufacturer does not recommend installing this in any way other than vertically.
