How Is Tow Bar Wiring Run For 2015 Chevrolet Malibu With Separate Wiring
Question:
getting a rm-15267 wiring kit and the 118158 vehicle to vehicle tail light convertor to pull my 2015 chev. Malibu behind my rv. my question is, on the Malibu, that the running and stop is same bulb and turn signal is the other bulb. how do you connect these items to the Malibu wires? do you have a diagram or could you email me directions before I cut into wires? thanks.

The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit, part # RM-15267 will work great with your 2015 Malibu and your motorhome.
The # 118158 will convert the combined signal from your motorhome to a separate signal for your Malibu. You will also need 2 additional diodes, part # RM-792.
I have attached a drawing you can check out that shows how the wiring should be completed.
If you need more butt connectors I recommend part # DW05745-5 for 12-10 gauge wire and part # DW05744-5 for 16-14 wire.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
