Adding a Converter and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector, # 119176KIT to a Motorcycle to Tow a Trailer
Question:
My vehicle motorcycle has a five pole round socket, my trailer has the flat four pin plug. Is there a manufactured adapter available, or will I have to make my own? Ive only just begun to look for one, but have had no luck so far. Thank you for your time.

While we do not carry a 5-Way round to 4-Way flat trailer connector adapter, but you do have an option. Because motorcycles use a 5 wire system, you will need to use a converter, # C59496, in order for the trailer to be compatible with the motorcycle wiring. I have included a link to the installation details for this wiring harness for reference. You will need to follow the steps for a 3 wire system. With this wiring harness installed it will be compatible with the 4-Way flat trailer connector on the trailer.
