Gooseneck Adapter For Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
My truck has the Bulldog gooseneck hitch already installed. I am interested in using the BandW companion sliding 5th wheel hitch. The BandW mounts to a square shank that is designed to fit in place of the gooseneck ball. Seems that I could make the BandW companion work with my Bulldog if there was a round to square adaptor. Does anyone make that kind of an adaptor?

There is not a square shank adapter for the B-W Companion Sliding Hitch # BWRVK3400 for any other underbed gooseneck system. It is only compatible with the B&W gooseneck system.
You may be able to use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # C16210 although this is not a confirmed fit. If that adapter fits, you could use it along with any standard sliding hitch like the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # C16541.
