Trailer Hitch Availability for 2016 Toyota Prius V
Question:
Hi, I have a Prius V tech and I need a trailer hitch receiver of 2 inches. I see you have the 1.25 inch? Do you have the 2 inch? The model year is 2016

The 2 inch hitches are only used on larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks. The lighter duty vehicles get the lighter duty 1-1/4 inch hitches. And there isn't a vehicle more lighter duty in terms of towing than a Prius.
The hitch you would want is the Draw Tite hitch part # 24847 which is a confirmed fit. I like the Draw Tite hitch better than the Curt because it does not require a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack.
