Recommendation on a Rear Suspension Enhancement for a 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche

Question:

2011 Chevy Avalanche LT towing a 4400 lbs dry travel trailer, 525 lbs hitch weight. What rear suspension enhancement do you recommend? Thanks,

Expert Reply:

For your 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche. I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TGMRYS4.

The Timbren system will sit above the rear axle of your Avalanche and help stabilize and level your vehicle when under a towing load or hauling in your vehicle's bed. The Aeon springs become more rigid as more weight is added allowing your Avalanche's body to ride at a more level position.

Note: Using a suspension enhancement system like the Timbren system will not increase your vehicle's towing capacity. For example, if you vehicle is rated to carry 2,000 lbs before adding the suspension enhancement, it will still only be rated to carry 2,000 lbs after installation. The suspension enhancement only helps is how your vehicle will carry a load and does not let yo carry more weight.
