If you have sag at the back of your 2012 F-150 when towing a load that stays pretty consistent then the best way to help with that is by installing suspension enhancement like part # TFR1504D for a 4-wheel drive or part # TFR1502D if you have a 2-wheel drive truck. These are rubber springs that do not effect the ride of your truck when it is not under load but when towing will become more rigid to help add additional support.

Air springs like part # F2525 are a better for your truck when you are carrying loads in the bed of your truck like rocks or mulch as the support can be adjusted by adding or removing air from the springs.
