For a 5th Wheel, you don't need the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNXA4685 to tow a 5th wheel. It is recommended to give you greater clearance with a gooseneck trailer on your 6-1/2 foot bed truck. For a 5th wheel, it is recommended to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch. The hitch made for your system is the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400-5W. This will give you the clearance you need to make turns giving you 12 inches of travel between the locked towing position and the locked turning position.

You may also be interested in the gooseneck/5th wheel wiring # PK11893-11932 that puts a 7-way in the bed of your truck for easier access and still allows the function of the 7-way at the rear bumper.
