Adjustable Height Ball Mount Recommendation for 2000 Toyota Sienna for Towing Pop Up
Question:
I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna with the Curt class III hitch receiver for my model 2inch receiver. I intend to tow a pop up camper 1700 lbs or less. Im still looking for the right camper. My questions are what is the typical rise/ mount required to tow a pop up in this range I initially got a 2inch Curt mount with mounted ball but now I think it may be too low, do I need a weight distribution hitch for something of this size, and what brake controller do I need installed in my Sienna? Thank you so much in advance for your help, this will be my first pop up.

For a camper that weighs at 1,700 or less for your 2000 Toyota Sienna you wouldn't necessarily need a brake controller as that weight is less than half of the towing capacity for the Curt hitch part # C13511 that you have installed.
There's a bit of variance in how tall the coupler will be on the trailer you end up with, but we do have the Tow and Stow # BWTS10048B which I can guarantee as a solution because it has an adjustable height to accomodate for various height trailers and because it has all three ball sizes. I attached a help article that covers how to pick out the correct ball mount rise/drop as well.
