Will Steel 5th Wheel Rails Cause Corrosion on Aluminum Bed of 2017 Ford F-250 Short Bed 4x4

I m considering very strongly about a new 2017 superduty with the aluminum box is there any special things or prep that needs to be done with steel rails on aluminum box just wondering . thanks

There are a couple of layers of protection between the steel rails in a 5th wheel installation kit such as # C16428-204 and the aluminum bed in the 2017 Ford F-250 4x4 short bed. First, the rails are powder coated so this powder coat is the first layer of protection between the steel rails and aluminum bed.
This kit also comes with galvanic isolation rods that go between the rails and the aluminum bed so that the rails and bed won't be in contact with each other. Take a look at the installation instructions I have linked that shows the rods. I have also linked a video showing the features of this installation kit.
