Question:

We have a 2015 cx5 mazda. Will this fit this suv without damage to the airfoil or rear window?? What is the load capacity? We have 2 bikes at about 115lbs! Is this trouble? There is no 3 point hitch and wont put one on! HELP!

All of the trunk mount bike carriers like the # TH910XT, are limited to 35-lbs per bike so that would not be a great option for you. Due to the weight of your 2 bikes at 115-lbs I strongly recommend installing a trailer hitch and a hitch mounted bike carrier for your 2015 CX-5. I have attached a link to the trunk-mount bike carriers that are confirmed as a fit for your vehicle.

The trailer hitch I recommend is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame, part # 76138. This is a Class lll hitch and it has a 2-inch receiver opening. A trailer hitch can be used for several uses like towing a trailer, bike carriers and also cargo carriers.

I then recommend a bike carrier like part # TH83JV. This is a platform bike carrier that can handle two bikes that weigh up to 60-lbs per bike.

The last option would be to install a roof rack and a roof mounted bike carrier on your Mazda. I am not so sure that this would be a great option either because the weight of the bikes could be tough to handle when trying to place it on a roof. I have attached links to the roof racks that are a confirmed fit for your CX-5 and also a link to the roof mounted bike carriers we offer you can check out.
