Upgrading Leaf Spring Equalizers on a 5th Wheel RV With 6,000 lb Axles

Hello, Im looking to upgrade the leaf-spring bushings and equalizers on my 5th wheel RV. I have tandem 6,000 axles, and researching bushing upgrades as well as something to smooth out the ride. What options are available? Thanks

To upgrade your leaf spring bushings and equalizers on your 5th wheel RV with 6,000 lb axles you will first want to measure the distance, center on center, of the two holes where your leaf springs and shackle straps connect to your current equalizer.

Our Equa-Flex equalizers are a great upgrade option and they include the 3K-6K, part # LC279687, that have a 5-1/2 inch measurement, and the 6K-8K, part # LC279688, which have a 7-1/2 measurement. You will want to choose the equalizers that are the closest match to your current equalizers.

The Never Fail Bushing, part # TRBU11566, is what you will want to use to upgrade your bushings. This bushing is maintenance free and self lubricating so you should not use it with wet bolts when they are lubricated. The Never Fail Bushing also comes in sets of 8, part # LC279684, 14, part # LC279685, and 22, part # LC279686.
