What are the Maximum Trailer Frame Dimensions for Curt Weight Distribution # C17500
Question:
Is there a maximum dimension for the frame rails on the trailer for the weight distribution mounts, or can we simply use longer carriage bolts if needed to secure the snap up brackets in place on the trailer?

For Curt weight distribution system # C17500 Curt states that the maximum frame dimensions compatible with the frame mounted brackets are 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. While some people do use longer bolts I can't recommend going against the manufacturer recommendations since alternative installations tend to void warranties.
