Can Circuit In 3rd Row Of Mitsubishi Outlander 2017 Be Used For 12V Power To Trailer Connector
Question:
I need to install a power module for a one time moving. Id rather not do anything invasive in my new car, thats why I like the part # C56189 with the T-connections. Can I use the 12V outlet in the 3rd row to power the the module? That way I dont have to run the long cable up to the battery. Thanks,

It is never a good idea to use any circuits on a vehicle for the 12V power when installing a trailer wire harness. You can never be sure that something else is also attached tot he circuit and can malfunction at any time. It is better to run the power wire to the vehicle battery positive post.
Using a supplemental 12V battery would provide the needed power as well, but it can be a bit cumbersome to carry a 12V battery in the trunk for the trailer connector. And you also run the risk of the battery going dead and you would be left without trailer lighting.
We always recommend running the wires as designed by the manufacturer to make sure the system is installed properly and reduce the risk of any problems.
